They were meant to be conversations. Encounters. A way of listening for where God is already at work in the world and then pointing gently toward it.

And if I’m honest, over the past year, I’ve had a lot on the go.

Between church life, community initiatives, writing projects, leadership cohorts, and the everyday realities of life, I’ve stretched myself across many good things. But sometimes when you say yes to too many good things, none of them receive the attention they truly deserve. If you’ve been waiting for more consistency here—thank you for your patience. And I’m sorry it hasn’t had the steady focus it should have.

This podcast matters deeply to me.

What Season Two Will Be About

Season Two of The Shawn LePage Journey Podcast is coming soon.

This season will continue exploring conversations with people of interest—community leaders, artists, thinkers, clergy, builders, caregivers, and quiet servants—people who, in my view, are walking in the footsteps of Jesus.

Some will openly profess Christ. Others may not use that language at all.

But when I look at their lives—at their humility, their courage, their sacrificial love, their commitment to truth, justice, mercy, and service—I can’t help but see echoes of the Gospel.

Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruits.”

Season Two will be about fruit.

It will be about stories of people who:

Lift others up instead of tearing them down
Choose service over status
Pursue reconciliation over division
Create beauty in broken spaces
Stand for something bigger than themselves

In a world that feels loud and fractured, I want to sit down with people who are building quietly and faithfully.

Why This Matters to Me

The Shawn LePage Journey has always been about more than interviews. It’s about formation.

We are shaped by the stories we listen to.

If all we consume are stories of outrage, scandal, and self-promotion, that’s what we begin to mirror. But when we intentionally listen to stories of faithfulness, perseverance, generosity, and conviction—we begin to see what’s possible.

As someone hoping to grow deeper in ministry and in discipleship, I need these conversations. I need reminders that Jesus’ way is still being lived out in real time, by real people, in real communities.

And maybe you do too.

A Personal Reset

This year will be busy for me. There’s no pretending otherwise.

But I’ve realized something important: busy doesn’t have to mean distracted.

Some things deserve intentional space.

This podcast and blog are two of those things.

So Season Two represents something of a reset. A renewed commitment. Fewer scattered efforts, more focused presence. Less trying to do everything, more choosing to do what matters well.

If you’ve been here since the beginning—thank you for staying on the journey.

If you’re new—welcome. There’s room for you here.

Season Two begins shortly.

Let’s keep walking.

Grace and peace,
Shawn
