It’s been a little while since my last blog post, and I’ve missed being here with you. Life has been full—between writing several books, continuing with school, starting a year-long missionary education program, and searching for new guests for the podcast, the weeks have flown by.
That said, I’m always looking for stories to share. If you have a life experience you’d like to talk about—or know someone whose journey might inspire others—please reach out. One of my favorite parts of podcasting is hearing from people whose paths are completely different from my own. I truly believe every person experiences life in their own unique way, and it’s always fascinating to see the world through their eyes. When I began writing my books, I imagined the process would be straightforward: write the story, publish the story, share the story. I quickly learned that there’s a lot more to it than that. Beyond the writing itself, there’s creating graphics, registering the books through Achieve Canada, and—since some of these projects are children’s books—finding the right illustrator. It’s been a steep learning curve, but it’s also deepened my appreciation for everyone who has gone through the publishing process before me. I don’t share this as a complaint, but rather as a glimpse into the unexpected side of creative work. It takes time, patience, and a willingness to keep moving forward, even when the details feel endless. Most of all, I’m grateful that you’ve taken the time to check in on me and the stories I’m working to bring into the world. Your interest and encouragement mean more than you know, and I can’t wait to share what’s next—both on the page and in the conversations to come.
