As we bid farewell to November, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on the moments that made this month significant. November is a time of remembrance, gratitude, and preparation—a balance that truly enriches our community.
Honouring Our Veterans November 11th, Remembrance Day, holds a special place in the hearts of Canadians. This year in Halifax, the weather may have dampened the turnout, but it could never dampen the spirit of remembrance. On Sunday, November 10th, our church hosted a moving service where three veterans shared in the celebration, bringing sacrifices of the Canadian Armed Forces to the forefront of our hearts and minds. Their contributions remind us of the deep sacrifices made, not only in our history but by those who serve today. Recognizing these sacrifices is not just about looking back but also about grounding ourselves in gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy daily. To our Canadian troops—past and present—we extend our heartfelt thanks. A Grateful Heart for December As we move into the most wonderful time of the year, let us carry the lessons of November forward. Gratitude, remembrance, and connection are gifts we can share with one another, creating a ripple effect of kindness and love. To the brave members of the Canadian Armed Forces, thank you for your service and sacrifices that make all of this possible. To everyone in our community, may you have an inspired and joyous Christmas season. Let us celebrate together with full hearts and mindful spirits. Merry Christmas!
